PRIMARY MATHS

Mathematics teaching and learning is strengthened when teachers have the opportunities to collaboratively develop expertise, are challenged with new ideas and are supported through strong networks. Camden Mathematics leads share high quality tried and tested innovations that have proven impact in the classroom.

PRIMARY MATHS CO-ORDINATORS NETWORK

The core of primary mathematics support comes through the well-established network of primary maths co-ordinators. This network meets every term for a full day, sharing news, updates and good practice, and often having national figures as speakers. The core goal is to build skill and confidence in school-based maths leaders so that school improvement can be sustained and embedded. It is led by Kate Frood, headteacher at Eleanor Palmer and lead school in the Camden Primary Partnership Teaching School Alliance.

TEACHER RESEARCH GROUPS (TRGs)
