A message from Pete Dudley - Update regarding Consultation on establishing the CL as a legal entity

21 Dec 2015

Greetings all,

First of all, thank you all for the time and input you have given to CL this year. Ahead of the holidays, please find an update below on the forthcoming CL legal entity consultation.

Following extensive and helpful discussions with Camden heads, governors and other interested parties over the past four months, possible options have now been identified for establishing the CL as a legal entity. Making the CL a legal entity would ensure the ongoing stability and effectiveness of the partnership over the long term in securing the best educational outcomes for children and young people.

There will be a further notification via email and this website when the consultation is published. Once live, the consultation will run for 8 weeks from the time it is uploaded. This document is being released ahead of Christmas in case headteachers, governors and key partners would like the opportunity to start considering this over the school holiday period

The Council will be hosting a consultation conference CL Next Steps on the morning of 15 January 2016 at the London Irish Centre, to which all headteachers, governors and key partners are invited. Further information on the conference will be available in the New Year.

Please click here to book your place at the consultation conference

Finally, I hope you have a relaxing break and I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

Have a great 2016.

Pete
