Royal Free - open day - science opportunity for students aged 14 plus

07 Mar 2017

The Royal Free Hospital is hosting the second annual open day of the UCL Institute of Immunity and Transplantation (IIT).

We would like to invite you and your students to attend our open day, where scientists will talk about how they are developing ground-breaking treatments for conditions including leukaemia, lung cancer and haemophilia, and how they are building new organs from stem cells.

This event is organised especially for schools – for A level and GSCE students. It’s an opportunity for students to speak to some of our world-class researchers and find out more about a career in science or medicine. Students who had attended in the past have found it really useful. There is some information in the attached flyer.

When: Tuesday 27 June 2017
Where: Sir William Wells Atrium, The Royal Free Hospital, Pond Street, London, NW3 2QG
Contact: Please email mary.mcconnell2@nhs.net if you would like any more information or if you or your students would like to attend.
