Skills Pills and HR Insight Newsletter

Skills Pills and HR Insight Newsletter

Skills Pills were instituted in 2014 and are designed to give school leaders, especially School Business Managers, Bursars and those who are associated or interested with the people management roles, nuggets (pills) of useful information relating to key HR, payroll, health and safety and management issues which could then be taken away and applied within your school.

They have proved to be immensely popular and well regarded and are now included within our Comprehensive Service Level Agreement (Package No.1). Those schools on the Standard or Basic Service Level Agreement packages can purchase places on the Skills Pills courses through the Camden Schools Website.

We are running three Skills Pills sessions this upcoming Spring term 2016.

On Monday the 8th February 2016 commencing at 10.00am in the Old Town Hall a representative from the Teachers Pension Scheme will be running a half-day session on the recent changes to the Teachers Pension Scheme.

On Tuesday the 23rd February 2016 commencing at 10.00am also in the Old Town we will be running a half-day session focusing refresher e-hr training and Safeguarding in schools.

We have scheduled a full day’s training session on Friday 18th March which will take place at 5 Pancras Square. A provisional programme will appear for this event in the New Year. It will contain topics covering Employment Law, Health and Safety and a skills related HR area. More details to follow.
