Being overweight or obese in childhood can have significant physical and emotional health consequences in both the short and longer term.
Schools are in a unique position to ensure that children and young people have the knowledge and skills to live healthy lifestyles and have access to healthy food and a wide range of opportunities for physical activity

Support is provided by Health Improvement Practitioners and a primary PE Consultant from the Health and Wellbeing Team within the Learning, School Improvement and Partnership Team
