We believe that promoting the health and wellbeing of children and young people at school not only improves health and wellbeing outcomes but educational outcomes as well.

Camden schools are committed to providing a curriculum, ethos and environment that supports pupil’s health and wellbeing as well as implementing interventions and activities that will help address key health priorities such as obesity and mental health. Currently 60% of Camden schools are recognised as Camden Healthy Schools and we are working with a number of schools who have achieved the Healthy School London silver award to help them achieve the gold award.

Our offer reflects current thinking and evidence based practice and brings together expertise in both education and public health to support schools with curriculum, teaching and learning, policies and whole school health improvement interventions.
