Governor Hub

Camden Learning has purchased Governor Hub for all Camden Learning member schools for the 2017-18 academic year.

What is Governor Hub?

Governor Hub is a secure web-based system for storing Governing Body papers and agendas. It has a variety of features, including a message board and document library. It allows school staff, the clerk and governors to update records and has an integrated database for Camden Learning staff.

For more about Governor Hub, click here.

What will it cost?

The system will be free to all Camden Learning member schools in 2017-18.

Why is the system being purchased?

Governor Hub will provide improved Governing Body administration for schools and for Camden Learning, and drive high quality governance.

Where can I learn more about the system?

Representatives of Governor Hub will be attending the Clerks Forum on 27th April 2017 and the Chairs Forum on 9th May. Arrangements will also be made to brief Headteachers on the system.

Do schools have to use the system?

All schools will automatically be signed up and maintained schools will be asked to meet the statutory requirement to lodge minutes and membership details with London Borough of Camden through the system.

In addition, all schools that are using the Clerking Service SLA will be asked to use Governor Hub for Governing Body documentation to facilitate improved administration.

There are significant benefits to Camden Learning, to governing bodies and to the quality of service we provide to schools if all schools sign up and use the system. However, schools may opt out of using the system if they do not wish to.

What do I need to do to sign up to use the system?

Nothing. You will automatically be signed up. During the summer term, the Chair of Governors and Clerk to Governors will receive an e-mail from Governor Hub giving access details for the system and explaining what information Governor Hub will need.

Training for those using the system will be held early in the Autumn Term after the system has gone fully live.
